Longevity of installations (lifetime longer than 20yrs)
The amount of wasted energy is around 30% of existing installations. The current energy consumption by CAS is 10% of the energy used for industrial production. The industry is consuming 82.5PWh of which 8,25PWh is used for compressed Air.
Saving 30% on 8,25 PWh represents 2,475 PWh. 8.25 TWh/nuclear power plant represents 300 Power plants
Lack of knowledge, confusing information by manufacturers, lack of transparency results in selecting poor performing compressed air installations !
